rEvive is an arts initive developed by CAFÉ (Culture and Arts Forum Erewash) a not-for profit arts organisation which began in 2009, rebranded in 2016 as ‘Arts Erewash’.
rEvive began as an ‘Arts in Empty Shops’ project run by volunteers initially funded by Arts Council England and Erewash Borough Council. It currently involves Erewash Museum and other spaces in the heart of Ilkeston and a shop in Long Eaton.
rEvive aims to revitalise the creative life of the area by bringing together professional and voluntary artists, arts organisations and groups, exhibiting and promoting work and arts activities initiated by local artists and others having a connection to Erewash and taking over suitable venues and spaces for creative activities, participatory sessions, performances and exhibitions.
rEvive supports the development of arts, culture and creativity in the Borough, encouraging creative enterprise, engaging local residents and visitors in creative activities.
